EHS Final Exam Schedule

Dear EHS Parents and Students

Welcome back from Spring Break, I hope you had a restful vacation and were able to spend time with your family. Here at Etiwanda, we are now in the development stages of our testing season. Beginning on Wednesday, April 5th we will begin our annual series of CAASPP tests (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress).

Etiwanda’s performance on the CAASPP is used in part to calculate the school’s California School Dashboard Report, a report that is a reflection of how our school is performing. This new accountability and continuous improvement system provides information about how local educational agencies and schools are meeting the needs of California diverse student population based on a concise set of measures. I am very proud to say that at Etiwanda High School and our staff works diligently to ensure that our students are academically prepared to undergo these series of assessments.

During the days of testing, we strongly encourage our students to come prepared to take a test. That means getting plenty of rest the night before, eating a good breakfast, and maintain a positive, confident attitude. Research shows that a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast can increase performance.

As a reminder, every six weeks students are given progress reports. If you have a question regarding this process, please do not hesitate to contact us. We want all our students to be successful, so it is imperative for parents and students to communicate with their teachers and seek assistance if needed. The Etiwanda High School library hosts tutoring Monday’s through Thursday’s from 3:05PM - 4:00PM; all students are invited
