    Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!

This school year is off to an incredible start, and I am looking forward to seeing our students continue to progress! It is my commitment to provide every opportunity to our students so that they may leave prepared for their next phase of life.

At Etiwanda we have many academic initiatives that support students with the aim of achieving our school-wide vision: “All students at Etiwanda will graduate ready for college and career.”  Throughout this school year, we will continue to improve student achievement and classroom instruction by offering a variety of academic support programs which will help to accomplish this vision.   This year we are offering new courses, broadening our college preparatory program, increasing student interventions (Academic and Health & Wellness) and continuing to guide students toward meeting the graduation and A-G college requirements.

Students, I encourage you to be prepared each day, to be aware of your time and to be connected.   There are many opportunities available to help you stay on track and stay connected to our school.  Please reach out to your teachers and counselors for assistance as you strive towards academic success.

Parents, the partnership between student, parent, and teachers is essential to every student's academic success. I encourage you to emphasize the importance of daily attendance with your student, communicate often with our teachers and regularly monitor grades and academic progress through School Loop.  Together, we will ensure that your child is successful. For further support, please visit the Parent Resources tab to learn more about these opportunities.

I look forward to another amazing school year in the service of our students, parents, and community.

    Eagle Pride!

new guaranteed admission agreement with cbu!

Mathew Holton, Superintendent, and California Baptist University Provost, Dr. Charles Sands, recently signed our newest admission agreement! All CJUHSD graduates who meet the mutually agreed upon admission requirements, will be able to enroll and attend this progressive university. One of the amazing highlights of this agreement is the commitment of CBU to provide a minimum of $8,000 per academic year in combined scholarships and grants to all our students! We are very excited to provide this opportunity for our students to attend this university in Riverside, California. This agreement, along with the previous agreements with Cal State San Bernardino, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Bakersfield, University of Redlands, University of La Verne, Azusa Pacific University, and Grand Canyon University continue to provide an advantage to the students of the Chaffey Joint Union High School District to pursue their dreams for the future!
