    Principal's Message

    Eagles,

Welcome back from winter break! As we begin the spring semester I want to remind you of what the new semester brings. Some students may experience a changes to their class schedule. While we try to minimize these changes, they are necessary. In addition, fall semester report cards will be distributed by the second week of this semester, Friday, January 18, 2019.

Etiwanda High School is committed to the academic success of each and every student and we understand that some students may need additional help above and beyond the traditional school day. As part of our commitment to student learning and achievement, we know the importance of supporting students after the school day has concluded. We have tutoring that is available after school. This tutoring will take place in the upstairs of the Library, Monday-Thursday beginning late January 2019. I would also encourage your student to speak with each of their teachers regarding after school tutoring offered before and after school.

As a reminder, daily attendance is a critical component to student success and we encourage all of our families to make a commitment to attending school each and every day.

We hope the New Year and 2019 semester bring success and prosperity!

    Sincerely,

    D Jaramillo, Principal

new guaranteed admission agreement with cbu!

Mathew Holton, Superintendent, and California Baptist University Provost, Dr. Charles Sands, recently signed our newest admission agreement! All CJUHSD graduates who meet the mutually agreed upon admission requirements, will be able to enroll and attend this progressive university. One of the amazing highlights of this agreement is the commitment of CBU to provide a minimum of $8,000 per academic year in combined scholarships and grants to all our students! We are very excited to provide this opportunity for our students to attend this university in Riverside, California. This agreement, along with the previous agreements with Cal State San Bernardino, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Bakersfield, University of Redlands, University of La Verne, Azusa Pacific University, and Grand Canyon University continue to provide an advantage to the students of the Chaffey Joint Union High School District to pursue their dreams for the future!
